Egypt to pilot interactive learning platform for students abroad in December

Egypt’s Foreign and Education Ministries announced on Wednesday that the Your School in Egypt initiative, an interactive platform for Egyptian students living abroad, will enter its pilot phase in a Gulf country in December 2025.

The joint statement detailed progress on the initiative, launched under a cooperation protocol signed by Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and Education Minister Mohamed Abdel-Latif.

Deputy Foreign Minister for Migration Affairs Ambassador Nabil Habashi, accompanied by Deputy Education Minister Dr Ahmed Daher, toured the Ministry of Education’s pavilion at the Cairo ICT exhibition in New Cairo.

The officials reviewed the platform and its accompanying mobile application ahead of the experimental launch.

The initiative aims to provide high-quality educational services for Egyptian students abroad, offering full access to the national curriculum through experienced teachers and advanced digital tools. It also seeks to strengthen students’ cultural and educational ties to Egypt.

During the pilot, Egyptian students and families in the selected Gulf country will test the platform and provide feedback to refine its functionality before a broader rollout.

Interactive classes will initially serve as free revision sessions ahead of mid-year examinations in January 2026.

Following the pilot, the ministries plan to announce the official launch on the Foreign Ministry’s website, the “Egyptians Abroad” portal, and the social media pages of Egyptian embassies and consulates, as well as on the Ministry of Education’s platforms.
