Cairo’s historic Abdeen Palace hosted The Grand Ball (The Grand Ball of Monte-Carlo) for the first time in Egypt on Saturday, bringing together European princes and princesses, high-profile nobles, and cultural figures from around the world.
Organized by Noble Monte-Carlo under the patronage of Prince Albert II De Monaco, the event blends elegance, luxury, and historic grandeur in the heart of the capital, positioning Egypt as a destination for major international aristocratic and cultural events.
Egypt becomes only the second Arab country, after the United Arab Emirates, to host the renowned gala.
The two-day event, running from 8–9 November 2025, will feature a royal gala dinner, performances, and ballroom dancing, concluding with a musical showcase at the Cairo Opera House featuring soprano Delia Grass and Egyptian singer Safaa Abu Al-Saud.
Among the confirmed guests were Princess Beatrice de Bourbon, Prince Joachim Murat, and Prince Albert II of Monaco, alongside delegations from European governments and prominent Egyptian cultural figures.
Tickets for the ball range from €1,000 for Emerald access to €3,000 for VIP Ruby tables, highlighting the event’s luxury positioning.
Originally launched in Monaco in 2019, The Grand Ball has become synonymous with royal elegance and philanthropic causes.
