Head of the Climate Information Center at the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Dr. Mohamed Ali Fahim, said that early summer waves are knocking hard on the door, before the season officially kicks off in 75 days.
Tuesday witnessed an intense heat, with temperatures reaching around 40°C in most areas, accompanied by very hot winds, laden with sand and dust. Then, on Wednesday, a significant drop of about 10°C is expected in the northern part of the country, with temperatures rising further in Upper Egypt.
Fahim explained that starting Thursday, there will be another significant drop across the country, with cold weather returning at night, especially in the northern part of the country.
