The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) announced the country will experience a week-long cold wave, with chilly daytime temperatures and severe cold nights.
According to the latest EMA weather report, temperatures have dropped by three to four degrees Celsius across most regions.
Light-to-moderate rainfall is expected over parts of the northeastern coast, with lighter showers extending to the northwestern coast and northern Delta regions. Winds will be active across most areas.
The EMA warned that these weather conditions will persist throughout the coming week.
Additionally, maritime navigation is expected to be disrupted on Sunday, particularly along the coasts of Marsa Matrouh, Alexandria, Kafr El-Sheikh, and Beheira, where wave heights may reach three to four meters.
