Minister of Transport Kamel Al-Wazir, received the new
French Ambassador to Cairo, Ambassador Eric Chevalier, to discuss strengthening
joint cooperation between the two sides in various fields of transportation.
Al-Wazir expressed the depth of relations between the political leadership and government of the two countries and the two friendly peoples, praising the fruitful and positive cooperation between the Egyptian Ministry of Transport and French companies in implementing giant projects on Egyptian soil in the fields of railways and subways.
The Minister also praised the existing cooperation between the Ministry of Transport in the field of managing and operating a number of transport projects, such as the French company RATP, which manages and operates the third line of the metro and the light electric train.
