After a brief respite from the scorching temperatures in the past few days, it is time to brace yourselves for another round of heatwave in Egypt this week.
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) has issued a warning that temperatures are set to rise by 2-3 degrees in most areas next Tuesday
Cairo and the Lower Egypt region of the lush Nile Delta are currently basking in a relatively comfortable 36 degrees Celsius during the day.
However, the mercury is expected to climb to a toasty 39 degrees.
Remember that temperature readings are taken in the shade, so when you factor in the humidity and sun exposure, it is going to feel even hotter.
In fact, brace yourselves for a feel-like temperature of 41 degrees in Cairo this week.
