Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli issued a decree stipulating that Sunday, 30 June 2024, will be a paid day off to mark the anniversary of the 30 June 2013 Revolution.
According to a cabinet statement on Monday, the decision applies to workers at all ministries, government bodies, public institutions, local administrative bodies, public sector companies, and public business sector companies.
However, school and university exams will run as scheduled, the decree read.
On 30 June 2013 millions of Egyptians took to the street to demand the ousting of president Mohammad Morsi.
