Egypt’s Haya Karima launches campaign to rationalize energy consumption

Egypt's Haya Karima Foundation announced the launch of its comprehensive national campaign to rationalize energy consumption and support the environment, under the slogan “Less consumption, Greater impact.”

The campaign, which is the largest of its kind in Egypt, aims to raise awareness of the importance of energy conservation and its positive impact on the environment and society, and to motivate citizens and institutions to adopt sustainable behaviors and practices.

Buthaina Mustafa, the official spokesperson for the Hayat Karima Foundation, said that this campaign comes within the framework of the Hayat Karima Foundation’s keenness to achieve sustainable development in Egypt, and to contribute to national efforts to confront the challenges of climate change.

She continued: “We believe that energy conservation is a shared responsibility among all members of society.” Every individual has an important role in protecting the environment and securing a better future for our coming generations.”

The “Consume Less High Impact” campaign targets all segments of society, including families, companies, educational and religious institutions, through a variety of awareness-raising and educational activities and events.

Buthaina Mustafa stressed that the Haya Karima Foundation seeks, through this campaign, to achieve tangible results in reducing energy consumption, reducing Egypt’s carbon footprint, and improving the quality of life for citizens, calling on all Egyptians to join us in this important national campaign and to be part of the positive change that we seek to all of them.
