Egypt Air expands international routes to five new destinations

National carrier Egypt Air announced the launch of five new flight routes to the Emirati city of Fujairah, Ivorian capital Abidjan, Czech capital Prague, Somali capital Mogadishu, and Djibouti.

Egypt Air's expansion is an endeavor to reach the largest global markets and attract new customers around the world by providing more travel options, Egypt Air wrote on Facebook today.

Twice-weekly flights are planned, on Sundays and Thursdays, to Fujairah. The airline will also fly to Abidjan three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

However, Egypt Air has not yet provided details on the weekly schedules for the flights to the three other new destinations - Prague, Mogadishu, and Djibouti.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Badr Abdelatty and Minister of Civil Aviation Sameh ElHefny as well as other officials joined Egypt Air's inaugural flights to Djibouti and Mogadishu earlier today.
