The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production General Mohammad Zaki praised the fraternal relations and historical bonds between Egypt and Bahrain, which are underpinned by robust co-operation, coordination, and identical views on various shared interests and concerns.
Zaki remarks came as he received yesterday Lieutenant General Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s National Security Advisor, Commander of the Royal Guard and Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council, and his accompanying delegation currently visiting Egypt.
General Zaki expressed pride at the strategic partnership with the Bahraini Armed Forces, citing it as a model for fruitful collaboration to advance mutual endeavors across all sectors.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Bahraini Supreme Defence Council expressed his country’s gratitude for Egypt’s sincere efforts, particularly those of its armed forces, in boosting regional stability and Arab security.
He emphasized his country’s commitment to strengthening military co-operation with Egypt in light of the deeply rooted ties at official and popular levels.
The meeting was attended by Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lieutenant General Osama Askar and several commanders of the armed forces of both countries.
