Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal instructed to simplify all procedures for citizens applying reconciliation requests on building violations in accordance with the new Reconciliation Law No. 187 of 2023 to serve the public interest and to display signboards and banners explaining these procedures.
Abdel Aal said citizens can submit reconciliation requests either through citizen service centers, the government services portal, or by using the "Reconciliation" mobile application after downloading it from the app store.
Moreover, Abdel Aal emphasized daily follow-up on the procedures taken to receive reconciliation requests for building violations following the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to simplify procedures concerning reconciliation in construction violations citizens as it is one of the vital files that are among the state's top priorities.
Abdel Aal also directed to provide all necessary support and resources to the 37 citizen service centers across Cairo to accelerate performance rates in this vital file.
In this context, the Cairo Governorate organized a workshop attended by deputy governors, the secretary-general, assistant secretary-general, district chiefs, citizen service center directors, and several officials of Cairo governorate to address citizen inquiries and respond to their questions after implementing the law.
The workshop also discussed the necessary support mechanisms to speed up performance rates while overcoming obstacles to complete the procedures to maintain the rights of both citizens and the state, following laws and executive regulations, and organizing decisions.
