Cairo Gov. attends Mass Communication Faculty 8th scientific conference

Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber attended the 8th scientific conference of the Faculty of Mass Communication at the Modern University for Technology and Information, titled "Media, Image Production, and Reputation Management."

The conference was held under the patronage of Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Prof. Ahmed Fouad Hano, Minister of Culture; and Prof. Olfat Kamel, President of the Modern University for Technology and Information. It was chaired by Dr. Sami Al-Sharif, Dean of the Faculty of Media at the university.

A significant number of mass communication deans and professors from Egyptian universities, politicians, media experts, editors-in-chief, program presenters, and artists participated in the conference.

The conference aims to shed light on the role that media plays in shaping the public perception of countries, companies, institutions, and public figures.

During the conference, Saber emphasized the crucial role of the media in raising awareness about national projects and infrastructure initiatives, as well as countering rumors that target the efforts made by the state to serve citizens.

Saber also pointed out the importance of the media's oversight role in conveying citizens' issues and delivering accurate information to them. The conference was attended by Deputy Cairo Governor Ashraf Mansour.
