Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli received his Malaysian counterpart Anwar Ibrahim, who is leading a high-level delegation, upon arrival at Cairo International Airport.
Ibrahim’s visit is part of both countries’ endeavors to cement their historic ties and boost political, economic, cultural and religious relations between Cairo and Kuala Lumpur, the Cabinet said in a statement.
Egypt’s Ambassador in Kuala Lumpur Ragai Nasr and Malaysia’s Ambassador in Cairo Mohammad Sofian attended the reception.
