The Egyptian Navy Hydrographic Department (ENHD) signed a contract with the French Naval Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service (SHOM) for boosting co-operation between the two countries’ navies.
The contract also targets the exchange of expertise in the fields of hydrographic and oceanographic services to support navigation and survey operations and localize navigation and map technology in a way that serves the state’s sustainable development process.
The signing ceremony was attended by Egypt’s Navy Commander Ashraf Atwa.
