Ahly now awaits the winner of the second semifinal clash between Benin's Flowers and Morocco's Montada Derb Sultan, scheduled for later on Friday.
The defending champions, Ahly, are hoping for a seventh African title to close the gap on record-holders Zamalek who boast 12 titles.
