The Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture has dismissed as
baseless news carried by the media pertaining to a virus that affects and kills
poultry in the farms. The poultry production union had assured that the
production cycles are regular, stressing that no health problems were reported,
read a statement by the Ministry of Agriculture.
The Ministry called on all media outlets to verify any information from official sources before circulating it, warning that such news could create confusion.
