Gendi said her ministry is keen
on the effective communication with Egyptians abroad through social media
platforms and a special complaint department, to resolve their problems and
respond to their demands, in addition to removing all obstacles facing them.
She stated that the Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Ministry succeeded, in collaboration with ten Egyptian investors living abroad, in setting up a joint stock company for attracting investments by Egyptians abroad in a number of sectors, including industry, agriculture, tourism, construction and information technology. She pointed out that her ministry works to establish an Egyptian emigration center to train youth nationwide for employment.
On his part, the IOM official lauded the fruitful cooperation with the ministry, saying the UN agency looks forward to establishing partnerships with regard to capacity building.
