President Sisi witnesses assessment tests for military academy applicants

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al Sisi, witnessed on Tuesday the assessment tests for students applying to join the Egyptian Military Academy and military colleges, held for the first time at the Academy's new headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.

The Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, said the President was briefed, through the electronic examination results registration system, on all the data of each student and grades obtained while performing the various stages of the examinations until qualifying for the interview, which reflects complete transparency of the examination results.

President Sisi discussed with the applicants a number of current local, regional, and international issues to determine the level of their awareness and knowledge.

The President expressed his appreciation for the level of knowledge and insight of the students and their understanding of the efforts made by the Egyptian state in all fields, urging them to continue to study and keep up with modern sciences, to be capable of protecting the homeland, and to set an example for all the sons of Egypt, as they are an integral part of society, who bear the responsibility of defending Egypt's security and stability in light of the accelerating challenges and successive changes in the Middle East.

The President stressed the keenness of the Armed Forces to select the best students with all objectivity and impartiality, according to the latest accurate scientific standards after they pass all the tests, wishing everyone success in serving the homeland.

The President was also keen to perform prayer with the applicants.
