Egypt’s PM, FM discuss intensified cooperation with African nations

Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli has emphasized Egypt’s keenness on strengthening ties with the rest of African nations and assisting them in achieving their aspirations.

In a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdel Aaty, Madbouli said this is part of President Sisi’s strategy to realize the common interests of Africans.

For his part, Abdel Aaty highlighted Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development, which supports comprehensive development in the countries of the continent through training courses, building cadres and transferring expertise in various fields.

The minister of foreign affairs also discussed the tireless efforts made by the Egyptian diplomacy to support trade exchange and joint investments with African countries, especially in light of Egypt's membership in the Continental Free Trade Agreement and a number of African regional blocs.
