Major parts
across the country, including greater Cairo, the North Coast and northern Upper
Egypt, will be warmer than average during the day through Friday, Egypt’s
Meteorological Authority (EMA) reported on Sunday.
The EMA also forecast a 30-40 percent chance of rain in parts of the North Coast and the Nile Delta from Tuesday to Thursday.
Light wind is also expected along some parts of the North Coast and North Sinai during the same period.
Greater Cairo will see highs of 22-23 degrees Celsius on Sunday and Monday, decreasing to 20 degrees on Tuesday and Wednesday, and further dropping to 19 degrees on Thursday and Friday.
Nighttime lows in Cairo will decline from 14 degrees on Sunday to a steady 12 degrees from Monday through Friday.
