Arab League Assistant Secretary General Hossam Zaki said
that the socio-economic council of the AL has endorsed a number of important
strategies to support joint Arab action.
In a meeting ahead of the convocation of the Arab summit in Manama, Bahrain, the council ratified an Arab water security strategy, an Arab youth and peace strategy and an Arab training and education strategy, said Zaki in statements yesterday. He added that a coordination mechanism to connect social development banks in Arab countries was also approved.
