Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sameh Shoukry, conducted a visit to both the
Egyptian Embassy and the General Consulate in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, yesterday
Sunday to assess the progress of consular services and the assistance provided
to Egyptian nationals.
According to a statement released by the Foreign Ministry, Shoukry was accompanied by Egypt’s Ambassador to Riyadh, Ahmed Farouk, along with members of the embassy and consulate staff.
During his visit, Minister Shoukry closely monitored the performance of various departments within the consulate.
He emphasized the critical importance of ongoing efforts to modernize and digitalize the consular services system, aimed at facilitating swift completion of consular transactions for citizens and enhancing service quality.
Minister Shoukry expressed gratitude to the diplomatic staff for their dedicated efforts in advancing the consular system during the preceding period.
