Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, announced that the “100 Days of Health” campaign has provided 85,960,822 free medical services since its launch on July 31, 2024, by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouli.
This initiative is part of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s “A New Beginning for Building Humanity” project. The campaign continues to deliver vital healthcare services across the country.
Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, reported that, on September 23, alone, the campaign delivered 1,805,190 services. These services were divided across various sectors, authorities, and presidential health initiatives.
The campaign also provided services through units under the General Authority for Hospitals and Educational Institutes, the Mental Health Support Initiative, and the General Authority for Health Insurance hospitals and clinics. Moreover, the Egyptian Ambulance Authority provided emergency services.
The Specialized Medical Councils issued 11,195 treatment decisions for state-funded healthcare. 2,369 surgeries were performed as part of the waiting list reduction initiative. Therapeutic Institutions Hospitals provided 32,795 services.
The campaign also reached 79,241 citizens with health education and awareness services. These were delivered by community outreach teams stationed in public spaces, clubs, and malls across governorates to raise awareness and guide citizens toward accessing campaign services. Additionally, educational seminars and awareness activities were held.
Dr. Abdel Ghaffar urged all citizens to visit the locations offering campaign services, including mobile clinics, to benefit from the free healthcare. He also encouraged those who are elderly or unable to move to request home visits by calling the hotline 15335.
