Egypt, Jordan, Palestine hold trilateral summit

Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, Jordan’s King Abdullah II, and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas are set to hold a summit on Wednesday.

The summit will focus on the latest developments in Gaza and the West Bank, according to the statement.

President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi met with Palestinian President Abbas in Cairo last Monday where they discussed ways of ending the ongoing war on Gaza.

The summit coincides with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken’s tour in the Middle East to rally the region leaders for post-war Gaza.
