President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has
ordered maintaining the optimum management and use of mineral resources and raw
materials in the country.
President Sisi underscored the importance of adopting the best modern management methods and governance principle as well as developed IT technologies in order to scale up the surplus value and boost the industrial action plan in the state and the national economy.
President Sisi’s remarks came during a meeting with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tareq al-Molla and Minister of Public Business Sector Mahmoud Esmat, in presence of several officials.
Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmy said the meeting discussed ongoing efforts to promote Egypt’s use of its mineral resources, with special focus on Tantalum element, which is used in several advanced industries.
