In the presence of Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal witnessed Wednesday the International Youth Forum for Artificial Intelligence held under the auspices of Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization with the participation of 27 countries.
At the beginning of his speech at the forum, Cairo Governor thanked all talented young participants from sisterly countries and promising young Egyptians, expressing his happiness with the high turnout of young people reflecting their growing awareness of the importance of developing their skills and knowledge in the artificial intelligence field.
Abdel Aal also stressed the importance of artificial intelligence and that it is not a luxury anymore but a new and significant path leading young people to the future, especially with the global need for modern technology in all aspects of life. Therefore, President El-Sisi paid great attention to preparing, qualifying, and equipping young people with knowledge and global developments, such as digital transformation, and encouraging innovation and creativity to achieve sustainable development goals.
Moreover, Abdel Aal said that youth equipped with knowledge and skills in the latest technologies are the hope of their countries, especially in the artificial intelligence field, which is necessary to build a new knowledgeable generation capable of keeping up with global and modern challenges. He added that is what we hope to achieve in Cairo’s first youth forum.
Abdel Aal also pointed out that Egypt has launched the National Strategy of Artificial Intelligence to use the best and latest technology applications in supporting sustainable development goals to interact with digital age data where technology developments are accelerating.
At the end of his speech, Abdel Aal commended the efforts of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Digital Egypt Platform, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, and all participating authorities to organize the Artificial Intelligence Youth Forum.
