Egypt’s Justice Minister Omar Marwan asserted President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi paying a great interest in achieving justice and eliminating slow litigation.
It is important to capitalize on IT development solutions to improve quality of services offered by the different sectors in the ministry, Marwan said in an interview with MENA Board Chairman and Editor-In-Chief Ali Hassan on Saturday.
That came as part of an action strategy for alleviating burdens on citizens, the justice minister said.
Marwan underscored President Sisi is always keen on ensuring independence of justice and non-interference in justice affairs, as a guarantee of the state’s stability.
The president is highly respecting Egyptian judges and appreciating their sublime mission of achieving justice, he added.
There are presidential directives to upgrade the judicial system via honing skills of the judges’ capabilities through learning, training and development, he said, highlighting the necessity of establishing courts and benefiting from digital services in introducing advanced and modern service mechanisms.
The minister commended greater successes made by women after assuming posts in the Public Prosecution and the State Council for the first time.
That proved the right approach adopted by the president on the importance of granting women all their full rights to join the judicial work out of the president’s belief in the role of women in society and his confidence in their various capabilities to achieve development alongside with men, according to him.
The minister also reviewed the details of the strategic plan, devised by the ministry to eliminate slow litigation measures and achieve justice.
Marwan said the ministry is making strides to realize digital transformation at all fronts to make it easy for citizens nationwide.
