The Egyptian Meteorological Authority warned that a hot air mass across the country will cause temperatures in most areas to rise starting on Wednesday.
Temperatures will peak on Friday and Saturday, with Cairo reaching 39C degrees, while the governorates of southern Upper Egypt exceed 45C during the daylight.
Rain will likely fall on the northwestern coasts and northern Lower Egypt at intermittent intervals.
Hot and humid weather will prevail during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, and northern Upper Egypt.
It will grow very hot in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt, moderately hot and humid at night north of the country up to northern Upper Egypt, and hot in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.
