Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal received Monday at his office in Cairo governorate headquarters delegation of the Armenian Catholic Patriarchate headed by the Armenian Catholic Bishop of Alexandria, Krikor Augustine Kusa.
During the meeting, Abdel Aal stressed that strong bonds, brotherly feelings, and religious tolerance distinguish the Egyptian people from others, pointing out that Egypt would remain safe and secure, wishing that the holidays would be an opportunity to spread peace and tolerance and affirm brotherly bonds and coherence among Egyptians.
For his part, Bishop Krikor Augustine Kusa greeted Mr. Governor on Eid Al-Fitr, thanking him for his constant keenness to participate in the church’s religious occasions and his full support.
Last Saturday, Abdel Aal attended the Armenian Catholic Easter celebration on behalf of Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli.
