The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) revealed an expected increase in temperature across the country during the coming days.
According to the official forecast agency, cold weather is expected to be witnessed in the morning, while hot weather is expected during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and northern Upper Egypt, warm in the northern coasts, hot in southern Sinai and the south of the country, and cold at night in the north.
The expected temperatures through Sunday:
Saturday 13 May: Cairo and Lower Egypt sees highs of 30 degrees, and lows of 20 degrees.
Sunday 14 May: Cairo and Lower Egypt sees highs of 29 degrees, and lows of 18 degrees.
