Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhy launched a national blood donation campaign for Palestinians in Gaza, in cooperation with the Egyptian Blood Bank and Egypt’s Tribes and Families Council (ETFC).
The blood donation campaign was launched in solidarity with Palestinians affected by the ongoing violence in Gaza, Sobhy explained, as per the ministry's statement.
Donated blood will be used to treat injured individuals and save lives, as part of Egypt's consistent efforts to support Palestinians, he added.
