Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will receive his Chinese counterpart Qin Gang in Cairo today to discuss the bilateral relations, said the Egyptian Foreign Ministry in a statement on Saturday.
A session of discussion will be held between the two ministers and then to be followed by a joint press conference, the statement added.
Newly-appointed Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs Qin Gang is holding on January 9-16 a tour in Africa that includes Egypt, where he will also meet with the secretary-general of the Arab League, Gabon, Ethiopia, Angola, and Benin.
