Egyptians all over Egypt rallied in large numbers on Friday in support of the Palestinian people, rejecting their displacement from their land and to authorize President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to protect Egypt’s national security and support the Palestinian cause with whatever decisions he deems appropriate.
The demonstrators chanted “With our soul and our blood, we sacrifice for you, Palestine,” and raised Egyptian and Palestinian flags and banners reading “Palestine”.
Some demonstrations in several governorates witnessed burning the Israeli flag and demanding the opening of the borders and the Rafah crossing to bring humanitarian aid into Gaza.
The demonstrations came after President Abdel Fattah El Sisi reiterated Egypt’s unshakable stance rejecting the relocation of residents of the Gaza Strip.
