The
Egyptian Red Crescent received a Jordanian cargo plane carrying humanitarian
assistance to Gaza. The aid cargo will be delivered to the Palestinian Red
Crescent in the Gaza Strip.
Earlier, Egypt called, in a statement by the Foreign Ministry, on all countries as well as regional and international organizations willing to send humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip to deliver their assistance to Arish International Airport in order to send them to Gazans.
Arish airport, 50 kilometers away from the Rafah border crossing into Gaza, has been designated by Egyptian authorities to receive international humanitarian aid from different parties and international organizations, the statement said.
