Minister of Foreign Affairs and COP27 President Sameh Shoukry headed yesterday to the Danish capital to co-chair with the COP-28 chair, the UAE, the Copenhagen Climate Ministerial Conference taking place on March 20-21.
The ministry's spokesperson, Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid, pointed out that the conference would tackle climate adaptation, mitigation, and funding in addition to handling damage and losses.
The minister is also planned to hold a meeting with his Danish counterpart, president of the Nordic Council of Ministers, and representatives of Maersk.
The meetings are aimed at consolidating Egyptian-Danish bilateral ties, and increasing Danish investments in Egypt.
