A slight drop in temperatures is expected as of
Thursday in north Egypt -- including in Cairo -- and northern Upper Egypt,
according to the Egyptian Meteorologist Authority (EMA).
The EMA also predicted a 30-40 percent chance of slight to moderate rainfall intermittently on Thursday and Friday in southern Upper Egypt, including the cities of Halayeb and Shalateen and the Red Sea mountains.
Heavy morning fog is also expected to come down as of Thursday on the roads leading to Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the Northern Coast, Suez Canal cities, Sinai and Upper Egypt.
The EMA predicted highs of 27-28 degrees Celsius and lows of 20-21 degrees in Greater Cairo and Nile Delta governorates from Thursday to Sunday.
