Minister of Social Solidarity Nevin Al-Qabbaj received the South Korean ambassador to Egypt showcasing that the ministry was preparing an MoU to secure social insurance coverage for Egyptian workers in Korea and Korean workers in Egypt.
On his side, the ambassador highlighted that there were a several Korean companies operating in Egypt, particularly in the electronic sectors, such as Samsung and LG. He added that the investment incentives offered by Egypt had pushed Korean investors to eye operating in the country's new energy sector.
The ambassador further invited Minister Qabbaj, who displayed the programs implemented to support all vulnerable segments in the society, to attend South Korea's celebrations of the National Day.
