An Egyptian navy supply ship arrived at Port Sudan Tuesday carrying hundreds of tons of relief aid materials to the people in the war-torn Sudan, under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The supplies were provided by the Egyptian Red Crescent, the Sudanese embassy in Cairo, the Kuwaiti Red Crescent and the Arab League.
The aid to Sudan included food, essential humanitarian relief materials and medical supplies.
It will be delivered to the afflicted and neediest areas in Sudan.
Sudanese officials, for their part, expressed gratitude for Egypt’s efforts to support Sudan during its time of need, appreciating the Egyptian political leadership for its tireless efforts to help Sudan and the Sudanese people overcome all adversities facing them.
