Egypt will experience a temperature rise ranging from three to eight degrees Celsius Sunday through Thursday, forecast the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA).
The night and early morning hours will be cold and moderately cold, respectively, in most regions through Thursday, the EMA added.
Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the North Coast and northern Upper Egypt are set to experience moderately warm daytime weather while South Sinai will experience warm weather and southern Upper Egypt will see hot weather in the same time frame throughout the week, the EMA said.
Morning mist is expected on roads leading to and from Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the North Coast, central Sinai, Upper Egypt and Suez Canal cities through Thursday, the EMA said.
Strong winds are also expected throughout the week in different regions.
The northwestern coast will see strong, sporadic winds on Sunday and Monday, with dusty weather expected on Monday.
Greater Cairo will experience strong winds on Wednesday and Thursday at intermittent times, while Lower Egypt, the North Coast and northern Upper Egypt will only receive strong winds on Thursday.
Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt will see highs of 27–32 degrees and lows of 15–17 degrees.
