Airman of Egypt Air Holding Company Yehia Zakaria met with
Kamil Al-Awadhi, the Regional Vice President for Africa and Middle East at the
International Air Transport Association (IATA) to discuss air transport
industry's developments in the Arab region and the Middle East.
The two sides reviewed common issues and developments in the air transport industry in the Arab region and the Middle East, as well as the challenges facing airlines, including high fuel prices and their impact on corporate revenues.
They also discussed the files of aviation security and safety, as well as the role of Egypt Air with the goals of IATA to advance air transport traffic.
The meeting also tackled future indicators for the advancement of airlines to develop the air transport industry.
