Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has directed the government to enhance efforts to develop the civil aviation sector; within the framework of the good management of the state’s resources and capabilities, and optimizing the use of their revenues.
He also pointed out to Egypt’s strategic, unique geographical location which offers huge opportunities in the fields of air traffic, civil aviation and tourism.
Sisi made the remarks during his meeting on Wednesday with Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli, Head of the General Intelligence Service Abbas Kamel and nister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Abbas Helmy.
The meeting touched on the future plans of the civil aviation sector, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.
The civil aviation minister talked
about the progress in some ongoing projects in the civil aviation sector,
including the development and modernization of the aircraft fleet, the
governance of the management of companies affiliated with the sector, as well
as qualifying human cadres of pilots and air crews.
