The Central Bank of Egypt announced
that banks will shut down during April 16-17.
In a statement, the CBE explained that work is suspended for all banks due to the Eastern Easter and Sham el-Nessim holidays.
The Central Bank statement said that banks will resume work on the morning of April 18.
