Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal made an inspection tour of Cairo’s southern area to follow up on the ongoing development work of Corniche Al-Mokattam. He also inspected the industrial zone in Basatin and Katameya districts.
During his tour, Abdel Aal asserted that the governorate seeks to provide full support and facilitation to investors following the instructions of political leadership to support industry and develop industrial zones to achieve SDGs and be consistent with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
The governor also inspected the first phase of the project of the Executive Authority for Drinking Water and Wastewater, aiming to improve sanitation services and expand lift stations in the Mokattam neighborhood.
Moreover, the governor inspected several road axes built by the state to connect east and south Cairo to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion, including the Yasser Rezq Axis, Abdel Magid Mahmoud Axis, Hasaballah Kafrawi Axis, and Dr. Samira Mousa Axis.
Abdel Aal furthermore follow up on raising the efficiency of southern area’s squares and roads and increasing green spaces to add aesthetic features to the area.
Accompanied the governor, Deputy Cairo Governor Jihan Abdel Moneim and several officials of Cairo governorate.
