Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli arrived in Johannesburg, South Africa, earlier yesterday to attend the 15th summit meetings of the BRICS.
Madbouli is due to attend the summit, themed “BRICS and Africa: Partnership for Mutually Accelerated Growth, Sustainable Development and Inclusive Multilateralism”, on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The BRICS meetings kicked off here on Tuesday, August 22, and will last until Thursday, August 24.
Madbouli is scheduled to attend a banquet and cultural ceremony organized by President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa in honor of leaders of the attending delegations.
The Egyptian premier will deliver a speech on Thursday, August 24 and will hold meetings with representatives of a number of companies.
