Warm weather is expected to prevail in Egypt this week with temperatures expected to hike nationwide starting Sunday, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) said in its report.
The EMA expects temperatures to rise by 2-5 degrees nationwide starting Sunday.
Moderate weather will be seen during daytime in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northern coasts, while South Sinai and Upper Egypt will see warm weather.
At night and during early morning, cold weather will prevail in most areas and chilly weather will be witnessed in northern Upper Egypt and Central Sinai, said the EMA.
The EMA expects a slight chance for light rain in the northern coast and northern Lower Egypt.
