Minister of Military Production Mohammad Salah El-Din Mustafa underlined the ministry’s interest in linking education and scientific research with industry and developing the manufacturing mechanism.
The minister made the remarks while reviewing a report on the progress realized so far in the establishment of a national university for science and technology in light of the cabinet’s approval of the presidential draft decree in this regard.
The minister stressed that the university’s establishment will contribute to promoting higher education mechanism and realizing sustainable development goals.
He said the university will be a distinguished educational edifice, noting that the university will include four faculties in the fields of business technology and administration, advanced industrial technology, AI and computer science, and engineering.
The ministry seeks up skilling technical cadres to cope with the latest developments in the industrial domain.
