Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal asserted Wednesday that serving citizens is the goal of the joint efforts between the members of Egypt’s House of Representatives and the executive bodies of the Cairo governorate, especially in light of current global challenges and soaring prices. He also pointed out that political leadership exerts great efforts to balance the local market prices and provide citizens with strategic commodities.
Moreover, Abdel Aal hailed the efforts of Cairo’s Chamber of Commerce, Supply Directorate, Veterinary Medicine Directorate, and merchants to contribute to establishing Ahlan Ramadan outlets across the capital, offering goods to citizens at affordable prices lower than the market’s prices. He also emphasized that there are sufficient reserves of commodities.
The governor’s remarks came during his meeting with several members of the House of Representatives serving eastern and northern Cairo, in which he reviewed the requests of each constituency and directed executive bodies to take the necessary procedures.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Governors Dr. Ibrahim Saber and Dr. Hossam Fawzy, several districts’ chiefs, and executives of the Cairo governorate.
