Egyptian President Abdel Fatah El-Sisi stressed that Egypt is committed to Arab issues, and mainly the Palestinian Cause. He added in statements on Tuesday that “Egypt’s National Security is his top responsibility and it cannot be compromised or forfeited under any circumstance.”
He added that Egypt will not allow the termination of the Palestinian Cause at the expense of other parties.
He also noted that Egypt has intensified its efforts to halt the military confrontations, and as a result, save Palestinian lives.
“The current escalation is so dangerous and has consequences that can jeopardize regional security and stability” President Sisi said.
Adding: “We’re communicating with all international powers and influential regional parties to accomplish an immediate ceasefire and pacification that would preserve the lives of civilians on both sides.”
