The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) announced that the heat wave that has been witnessed over the past days across the country is expected to relent on Saturday, with Greater Cairo recording highs of 34 degrees Celsius.
The weather will be hot in most parts, and it will remain very hot in the south of the country, with temperatures also declining during the night periods.
The Meteorological Authority expects that there will be a noticeable rise in temperatures in all parts, moderate weather will prevail in the early morning, very hot during the day on Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northeastern coasts, South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt, hot on the western coasts, and moderate temperature at night on all over.
Sandy and dusty winds are also expected in most parts of the country, along with chances of light rain, which may be thundery at times, on Lower Egypt, the northwestern coasts, and the Western Desert, while in Greater Cairo, chances of light rain are weak.
