Sisi to participate in World Government Summit 2023 in Dubai 13-15 February

Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi alongside 19 other presidents will participate in the 2023 edition of the World Government Summit (WGS) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from 13-15 February, according to Emirati Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the WGS Organization Mohammad bin Abdullah Al-Gergawi.

 

Al-Gergawi made the remarks in a press conference held by the WGS at the Museum of Future in Dubai to announce its agenda, main themes and forums under the slogan “Shaping Future Governments,” Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.

 

The summit will witness the participation of 20 presidents, including Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Senegalese President and Chairperson of the African Union Macky Sall, Paraguay's President Mario Abdu Benitez, and Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev, said Al-Gergawi.

 

The WGS’s 2023 edition will also convene over 250 ministers, more than 10,000 government officials, thought leaders and global experts around the world, and over 80 international, regional and governmental Organisations, Al-Gergawi further specified.

 

The summit will feature prominent business leaders from the private sector, he added.

 

The summit will also include high-level ministerial meetings, including a meeting between the Arab finance ministers and another meeting between Arab youth ministers.

 

It will see many bilateral agreements and meetings with the aim of securing an opportunity for decision-makers worldwide to exchange visions on future governments.
